Information about the project: Applications are invited for a PhD studentship in Biophysical Modelling to work at the interface between physical science and cardiology. The project is funded by the British Heart Foundation (BHF) for 3 years to investigate the functional impact of gene mutations associated with the inherited short QT syndrome on cardiac arrhythmogenesis. scholarship daily news in www.rightman.ir

Qualifications applicants should have/expect to receive: The successful candidate will have or expect to obtain a first or top upper second class degree or equivalent in a relevant degree (e.g. MPhys, MSci, MChem) in a relevant physical/biological, engineering or computer science subject. scholarship daily news in www.rightman.ir

Amount of funding available and eligibility: The project is fully funded for the maximum period of 3 years. The studentship will cover the university tuition fees for three years for a student with British citizenship and the stipend will be around £19,919 (tax free) in the first year with an increase in years 2 and 3.
