Learning roots, prefixes and suffixes helps you have the tools needed for decoding difficult words and breaking down unfamiliar words into segments that are easily understood.
In English “ in ” is used as preposition, adverb, adjective, noun and prefix.
Examples :
Prep. : Walking in the park
Adv. : Please come in.
Adj. : the in (inner) part of a mechanism
N. : persons who are in

These prefixes are used to add the meaning ” not, lacking, or the opposite of ” to adjectives and to words formed from adjectives.
