IACAP, alongside retaining various workshops and didactical courses for child and adolescent specialists, since 2002, it has been, successfully and continuously, holding 6 international congress every other year in Tehran and other cities; The last one has been held in September 2013 with collaboration of Tabriz university of Medical Sciences in Tabriz. Conference daily news in www.rightman.ir

IACAP is planning to hold “the 7th international child and adolescent psychiatry” congress, with the conjunction of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and the motto of “promoting child mental health and violence prevention”, within three days on 12-14 May 2015, in Tehran-Iran. Conference daily news in www.rightman.ir

Formerly, IACAP as a custodian and provider of child and adolescent mental health has taken advantage of specialists gathering in national and international congress, seminars and workshops, to present its capacity, effectiveness and concerns, to play a leverage role for: 1) aiding Ministry of Health on the didactical ground, promotion and prevention; 2) taking part in the meeting of Iranian Society of Pediatrics to expand its collaboration with other related subspecialists and specialists societies; 3) authorizing and appointing members in specialized committees like Autistic Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, Parenting and Mood Disorders; 4) holding joint meetings with the office of mental health in The Ministry of Health to organize the system of child mental health. Conference daily news in www.rightman.ir

On the other hand, due to continuous and severe activities, some crucial and critical research projects- in the field of child abuse and neglect, parent-adolescent relationship, behavioral and psychological disorders in children and adolescents- has accredited to IACAP since its foundation. Conference daily news in www.rightman.ir

Moreover, holding chronological seminars on child abuse, prevention of domestic violence and children with attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder and also constant didactical workshops about parenting skills and capacities has reinforced both the specialists’ comprehensive understanding of child and adolescent mental hea. Conference daily news in www.rightman.ir
