The School of GeoSciences is delighted to offer a number of scholarships for the 2015-2016 academic session

Each scholarship is worth £۵,۰۰۰ and is tenable for one academic year. The award of your scholarship will be deducted from your tuition fee

Eligibility

Applications from students studying a full-time taught Master’s degree in one of the following eligible subject areas are considered

Carbon Management

Ecosystem Services

Environment and Development

Environmental Sustainability

Geographical Information Science

Environment, Culture and Society

Marine Systems and Policies

Applicants who have already commenced their programme of study on the closing date are not eligible for this scholarship

Applicants intending to study part-time or online distance learning courses are not eligible for this scholarship

All students who have accepted an Unconditional Offer by 14 June 2015 to the programmes listed are eligible to apply

Criteria

Eligible applicants should complete an online application and accompanying Personal Statement evidencing: your passion for your chosen subject; why you deserve the scholarship and evidence of attempts to secure additional means of funding

Applying

To apply for a scholarship you must first apply for admission for an eligible programme of study at the University of Edinburgh

Once you have applied for admission you will receive your University Username (UUN). Your UUN is the letter ‘s’ followed by your matriculation number; for example, s0987654
