To meet this challenge we seek a highly motivated individual to award a PhD studentship. Details of proposed research

The work will involve areas of

a) CFD of current motor cooling

b) Analysis of a number of proposed improvements using CFD and other techniques

c) Implementation of proposed solution on test rigs with field tests to prove data

d) Investigations into high temperature operation

Candidate specification

Coventry University Research entry requirements apply in all cases and applicants should have as a minimum 2:1 honours degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or the physical sciences. A Master’s level qualification is preferred (with a Merit level profile or equivalence). The successful candidate will be a self-starter and able to communicate with engineers, designers and technologists in industry and academia.
