Learning roots, prefixes and suffixes helps you have the tools needed for decoding difficult words and breaking down unfamiliar words into segments that are easily understood.

Suffixes :

-al

Makes nouns and adjectives

-ate

Makes verbs and adjectives

-ation

Makes nouns

Examples :

Anim

Animal, Animate, Animation

Termin

Terminal, Terminate, Termination

Roots :

meaning :

breath, life, spirit

۲) Termin

meaning :

boundary, limit, end
